그동안 공부하고 포스팅한 영어 표현 중에서 복습하고 외워지지 않은 것들을 다시 적어서 외워보는 두 번째 시간!

 

1. Purview: the limit of someone's responsibility, interest, or activity: 내 책임/업무내용 밖

This falls outside of my purview.

 

2. Guile/ɡaɪl/]: 속이다 clever but sometimes dishonest behaviour that you use to deceive someone: 
the practice of deceiving people or using other dishonest methods to achieve your aims, or the ability to deceive people for this purpose:

I love that she has no guile.

3. Extortions: to get something by force or threats, or with difficulty:

(I found many religious usages of this word.)

Many of the candidates like to revile. 
The people we revile, there is probably something to admire about them. 
When you're slandered, those who may revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. 
While being reviled he did not revile in return.
